About The Event
The video-based, instructor-led CPR and AED use teaches rescuer skills in CPR and relief of choking (foreign-body airway obstruction). The course presents information about the American Heart Association adult, child and infant Chain of Survival and signs of heart attack, cardiac arrest, stroke and choking in adults. Upon completion of the course, participants will receive a Healthcare provider card issued by the American Heart Association valid for two years.
John Paul Cloutier has been a member of the Bristol Volunteer Fire Department since 1991 and in 2007 became an Emergency Medical Technician where he has held many leadership positions in the department including; Past Deputy Chief, and Past Captain Division of Emergency Medical Services. He is a National Fire Academy Instructor and is a Certified Instructor in CPR and BLS.
